As promised, an update on the latest press coverage for Fiera Issue 02 and some more thank yous…
British design and architecture online magazine, Dezeen, is very kindly running a competition offering its readers a chance to win one of five copies of the magazine. You can read the full story and enter to win your copy here, but get in quick, the competition closes on 11 August.
Sandford PR’s Katherine Sandford-Anderson interviewed Fiera editor Katie Treggiden for a story on their On Our Radar round up of the latest news in the design world. “With the first one, the fact we’d done it at all was an achievement, we felt that this was the one we’d really be judged on, so it had to be really, really good,” said Treggiden. “And I have to say, I’m really proud of what we ended up with.” You can read the full story here.
And finally Nemanology’s Robert Newman called Fiera Issue o2 a textbook lesson in indie publishing, saying, “This rich issue is a giant step forward from their first, packed with imagery and information and smartly designed and well-paced. This is a textbook example of how to launch and build an engaging, reader-friendly and visually-striking magazine. Consider it a perfect lesson in Indie Magazine Publishing 101. Study and learn.” You can read the post in its entirety here.
Huge thanks to Alice and Dan at Dezeen, to Katherine and to Robert – and of course to the wonderful Sabine at Zetteler, who is helping us with our PR – and to everyone who has helped to spread the word via social media. We’re sharing our favourites, so make sure you mention @fieramagazine when you post a picture of your copy of the magazine.
